Remix End Season in 2nd Place

Remix finish the season in 2nd spot after the final game ended in a 1-1 draw against CUFC.

Match Report:

A hard fought game played under very bad weather. CUFC needed a 5 goal win to get
second place and Remix wanted nothing but a win against the "draw" specialists.
Final score 1-1. CUFC getting their infamous draw yet again, with an easy goal let in by
Remix. Remix went behind after 20 mins but could have been 2 up by 10 mins if not for a
puddle of water goal keeping their goal posts. Remix knew a goal would come their way if they continued to play a very fast paced game. A goal finaly game in the 64th min
when the CUFC goalie dropped tricky free kick and Melvin, assistant Captain pounced
on the loose ball.

Season Finale: CUFC VS Gabrielite Remix

Contrary to 2 posts before where it was thought we had 2nd spot secured, we actually have not! On current standings, a CUFC win by a margin of 5 or greater will see them edge us to the 2nd spot on goal difference.

CUFC are no strangers to big margin wins, recently stunning Forca FC with a 6-1 victory and beating Woodlands Ave 3 FC 5-3. They will no doubt be going into this cup-tie-like final game of the season with great purpose and confidence.

On our part, lets be reminded not to take this game lightly. We need every single player to be focused and disciplined. Let's start by ensuring PUNCTUALITY tomorrow. Be on time and be prepared.
