"Bullshit game" by P-squared

A great field on a hot day was a good setting to decide who’d end up with the Division 2 title. Played with great spirit by both sides. Game kicked off at an explosive pace and the scores were opened by Remix top scorer Pat with a header in the 15th minute. But things were soon levelled 5 minutes later. But this is when things took a twist. Remix Captain Mike was introduced to the game and within 2 minutes was off. For a supposed kick at an opponent. Both sets of players were in shock as no one saw it. But the ref stood by his decision. The Brazilian Boys took full advantage of the numerical advantage and began to spread play at will but couldn’t find a winner before the break.

After the break though, they opened the flood gates from the word go, with a great one-two from the kick-off, ex-international Samawira Basri and the Brazilian lad opened up the remix defence like a hot knife through butter. Surely the whole remix team will have to take fault for that. As the Game wore on, the Brazilians ran the remix boys ragged and found a few more with the saving grace that small Mel put in one more for the boys in white. Game ended 5-2. A disappointing blow for the remix boys but take to note the fighting spirit of the remix as we never gave up till the end. Perhaps less boo’s and more discipline could help us go a little further yeah.

But a point to note as to the referee’s explanation to the sending off. His exact words quoted “Not nice lah , wait the masale make noise”. Masale is a malay term for European or Eurasian. What sort of bullshit reason is that ??? Who’s he referring to? The Brazilian supporters who were up in arms? Or perhaps the management? Cause the Brazilian Boys on the pitch were’nt complaining but wondering what had happened just like the rest of us. Espzen pls take note that this is the second game in a row we’ve had a man sent off for a very dubious decision very early in the game and it has made me come to wonder what the heck is being said about the Remix team to the referee’s by the management. If you know me, I am not one to complain but rather just to enjoy my Sunday playing football but this is truly Bullocks. Shite refereeing of late.

Well all in all, a very big Congratulations to the Brazilian Boys for a game well played and the Division 2 title. A nice game played with some tough tackles but in good spirits. But where have all the young Brazilian Boys gone? The Brazilian Boys have become the Brazilian Men. Nonetheless all the best for the rest of your season and perhaps we shall meet again in Division 1.

Cheers,
Pat Paran
