Title hopes Buried in The Mud (by the mats)

A bad preparation again as most of the players arrived very late. The condition of
the field was also vey bad. In fact it was unplayable. We could not play our usual
game down the flanks as the entire flank was very soggy.
Woodlands managed to play it to their advantage by playing down the centre and
their right flank. They gave the midfield alot of problems with a series of good passing in
the middle of the park. Mike missed 2 good chances early in the game and woodlands
took ther two half chances well.
2-0 at half time, we made a few changes, putting on our two key wingers. They ,
however, could not do much as the center midfielders were struggling to keep the ball.
The entire left flank was unplayable and woodlands shrewdly packed the right flanks
rendering our attack useless. unable to attack or keep the ball, we threw the ball
right back to them and sometimes even gave the ball to them in the middle of the
field. 4-0 final score.
